He was predeceased by : his parents, Osa Leroy and Rosetta Cline; his former life partner JoAnn Cline; and his siblings, Bill Cline, Lloyd Cline, Melvin Cline and Notra Fuller.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Cline; his son Curtis A. Carter (Shelia) of Paragould; his grandchildren, Curtis W. Carter (Megan) and Ashley Richardson; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Peyton and Ellie; and his brother-in-law Larry Rice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Jonesboro Memorial Park (3910 Harrisburg Rd, Jonesboro, AR 72404).
