She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Akes and Jessie Akes (Harvey); her husband Roy Davidson; and her siblings, Mary Tyler, Raymond Akes and Truman Akes.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Davidson (Kimberly), Shelvie Morris (Scotty), Barbara Prince-Fields and Martha Ewing (Carl); and her brother Floyd Akes. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 38 great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
