She was predeceased by: her husband Terry Dowdy; and her parents, Roy Crites and Mary Crites. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph (Jera), Jonathan (Karen) and James Dowdy; her brothers, James Lalumondiere and David Crites; her brother-in-law Darrell Dowdy (Kathy); and her close friend Michael Schuckman. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Heath Funeral Home (321 W Garland St, Paragould, AR 72450). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Beech Grove Cemetery.
