She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Dial and Lettie Dial (Gibson); her husband Gordon Ellington; her sisters, Willadean Fletcher, Christeen Sparks and Betty Lyerly; and her grandson-in-law Mike Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Ellington, Dennis Ellington (Lisa), Danny Ellington (Melinda), Judy Reddick (Barry) and Karen Greene (David). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren.
