He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Theodore Joel Staub, Alan Lorraine Staub and Joel Ann Staub Mills; his grandchildren, Ann Lorraine Staub, Alan Wayne Staub, Margaret Sue Staub, Brendan Shea Mills and Kirsten Elyse Mills; and his siblings, Jerry Staub and Patty Jean Staub. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.
