He is survived by: his wife Reba Howe; his father Wallace "Beaver" Howe; his children, Grant Howe (Megan) and Katie Combs (Zach); his siblings, Scott Howe and Pam Lyerly; his sister-in-law Connie Cline; and his grandchildren, Case Rhett Combs and Charlotte Anna Howe.
