Virginia Pfeifer Obituary
Virginia "Kay" Pfeifer, 63, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on December 24, 2025 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on January 7, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri to David and Joyce Ann (Petero) Pfeifer.
Kay worked as a Walmart department manager for 20 years before becoming disabled. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Kay was always ready for her next adventure, she found joy in gardening, spending time outdoors, and tackling DIY projects. For the last two decades, she proudly embraced her role as a full time "Granny" to every child fortunate enough to be apart of her life.
Survivors include; one son: Justin Lee Bryant (Jeri) of Paragould, Arkansas; one daughter; Samantha Nichole of Clearwater, Florida; three sisters: Marita Miller Arnold) of Bono, Arkansas, Teresa Cook (Greg) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Peggy Forkum (Gary) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; six grandchildren: MaKenna Danielle, Keaton Walker, Destiny Lynn, Kennady Kayson, Lastyn Alden, Jaci Lynn; one great grandson: Kevari King; and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by; her parents: David and Joyce Ann (Petero) Pfeifer; her paternal grandparents: Ralph and Edith Pfeifer; and her maternal grandparents: Loy and Kiethen Petero.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Pavilion in Paragould, Arkansas. The family would appreciate drop in's to share memories of Ms. Kay and celebrate the life she lived.
