We bid farewell to Virginia West of Paragould, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 16, 2025 at the age of 98. Virginia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Amos West; her parents, Camuel Eli "Buck" Hovis and Nora Louella Hovis; her siblings, Jess Hovis and Mildred Weaver; and her niece Delora May.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janet West of Paragould, Arkansas. and Judy Jackson of Paragould, Arkansas.; her brothers, Bill Hovis of Seabrook and Robert Hovis (Ronna) of Paragould; her nephews, Steve Hovis of Paragould, Stan Hovis of Walnut Ridge and Dick Hovis of Joliet, Illinois; and her niece Sherry Hovis of Houston, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
