He was predeceased by : his father William Joe Parsons; his daughter Cynthia Parsons; and his brothers, Audie Lee Parsons and William H. "Dub" Parsons. He is survived by : his daughters, Dora Baker (Rick) of Oklahoma City and Janell Staggs (Jerry) of Fort Smith; his adoptive daughters, Shantala Parsons of Oklahoma City, Misty Carney of Van Buren and Kyla Daws (Toby) of Fort Smith; and his siblings, Juanita Curtis of Napa, Nadine Jacques of Paris and Larry Parsons (Martha) of Ozark. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
