With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Akin of Paris, Arkansas, born in Martinez, California, who passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Hugh Jack Akin, Sr.; and his siblings, Jerry Akin, Hattie Juanita Akin, Sandra Moore, Fayden Akin, Juneva Akin (Joyce Ann Akin) and Jerry Akin.

He is survived by : his daughters, Sandra Akin (Robert Lane) of Paris, Joyce Akin (Adam Brannan) of Porterville, Coreana Mills of Milburn, Alissia Reed of Ardmore and Christina Davis of California; his brother Paul Akin of Blue Mountain, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Rosafina, Kelly, Tristin, Gabreal, Loretta, Billy, Kaleb, Kenzie, Jordan, Kyle, Jr., Temperance, Everly and Robert III. He is also survived by one great-grandchild on the way and numerous, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
