He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Fletcher Sr. and Josephine Fletcher (Litsch); his brothers, Richard Fletcher and John Fletcher; and his sister-in-law Sonja Fletcher.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Fletcher (Robins) of Paris; his children, Cindy Gandy (Tony) of New Blaine and Dr. James William Fletcher III (Ashley) of Jonesboro; his siblings, Carole Becker of Lavaca and Harry Fletcher of Paris; his grandchildren, Amanda Hamilton (Aaron), Rebecca Elsken, Thomas Fletcher (Lili), Lydia Fletcher and Brittany Gandy; and his great grandchildren, James Hamilton and Charlie Fletcher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
