He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Callans and Janice Esta Flanagan (McGee). He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Lee Flanagan, Paul Michael Flanagan and Martha Dale Flanagan Acoach; his wife Donna Jean Flanagan (Gattis); his daughter Dawn Guinnip (Dale); and his siblings, Sarah Summerall (R. V.) of Charleston and Joe Flanagan of Charleston.

The military honors was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Paris First United Methodist Church (205 N Elm St, Paris, AR 72855). A reception was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall.
