He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Melton and Rose Edith Murray Melton (Bridges); and his siblings, Verna Sue Rice, Michael Murray and Bobby Ray Melton.
He is survived by: his wife Keila Melton (Brooks) of Paris; his daughters, Kecia Schluterman (Dustin) of Paris and Cortney Rieder (Parker Whittenton) of Paris; his siblings, Sandra Rhyne (Frank) of Hackett, Joe Murray (Vicky) of Springdale and Richard Murray of Paris; and his grandchildren, Ryleigh Oates of Paris and Jaxon Rieder of Paris.
