He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Porter, Sr. and Bernice Betty Porter; and his sister Karen Porter. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Nichols (East) of Paris; his sons, Seth Porter, Michael Simons of Paris and James Simons of Paris; his sister Ardyth Power of Reno; and his grandsons, Tyler Simons and Miles Simons.
