She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Taegtmeyer and Lois Taegtmeyer; her brother James Taegtmeyer; and her daughter Loretta Ponthieux. She is survived by: her husband James Lucas; her sons, James Lucas (Marie) of Wynne, Adam Lucas (Nichole) of Texarkana and Shelton Lucas of Parkin, Arkansas; and her siblings, Ron Taegtmeyer (Pam) of Wynne and Debbie Bohanon of Forrest City, Arkansas.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Parkin First Baptist Church (234 E Smithdale Ave, Parkin, AR 72373).
