She was predeceased by: her parents, Hays Stovall and Dovey Stovall; her husband EJ Atchley; her brother Thomas Stovall of Subiaco; her grandson Mac Atchley; and her son-in-law Rick Himes.
She is survived by: her children, John (Kim Atchley), Jimmy (Amber Atchley) and Marylin Himes of Parks; and her siblings, Joyce Miner, Hazel (Ray), Bobbie (James Gilchrist), Albert (Norma), Allen (Rose Stovall), Walter (Cindy Stovall), Donna McCurry of Waldron, Pat Nelson of Delaware, Karen (Larry Rogers), Kenny (Liz Chronister) and Chuck Chronister of Texas. She is also survived by 11 grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel (101 W 4th, Waldron, AR 72958). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Waldron Senior Citizen Center in Betty's name.
