She was predeceased by: her husband Rogie Taylor; her parents, Grady Earl Kitchens and Margie George Kitchens; and her brothers, Howard and Harold Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Tony Taylor and Malinda Shoptaw; and her brothers, Herbert Kitchens, Hershall Kitchens and Horace Dale Kitchens. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
