With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimere Balogun of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on March 14, 2023 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Frank, Johnnie Mae Haynes Bohannon, Senator Jean C. and Artemeze Redwood Edwards; her great-grandparents, William, Mattie Bohannon, James, Laura Freeman Edwards, Elmer Redwood and Francis Rice; her aunt Marilyn Bohannon Creggett; her uncle Frank Bohannon, Jr.; and her godmother Lois Turner.
She is survived by: her parents, Reverend Edwin Jay Edwards of Ft. Worth and Gail Bohannon Edwards of Lowell, Arkansas; her husband Lateef Balogun (Ola); her stepdaughter Olamide Balogun; her siblings, Edwin Edwards, Jr. of Atlanta, Crandall Edwards (Marjorie) of Lowell, LaRon Edwards (Kim) of Lowell, Jerjuan Edwards of Ft. Worth, Texas and Breana Edwards (Karen Edwards) of Little Rock, Arkansas; her nieces and nephews, Josh, Jeremiah (JJ), Neaven, Josiah Edwards, Harrison Morris, Jarah, Hannah, Nevaeh, Jordyn, Grace Edwards and Malayah Alexander; and her godsons, Kavion Turner and Rickey Smith. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins.
