She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Ann Cochran and Horace Wade Cochran; and her brother Jerry Cochran. She is survived by: her husband Michael Hassett; her daughters, Melinda Dobbs (Jordan), Jennifer Douberly (Kyle), Tiffany Schee (Jonathan) and Miranda Sandgren-Thomas (Joshua); her stepsons, Tommy Wimberly (Kayla), Steven Wimberly and Harley Hassett; and her sister Terry Cochran. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
