It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Nye of Perryville, Arkansas, born in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles McIntyre and Esther McIntyre; her husband Bill Nye; and her sister Barbara Haskins. She is survived by : her sisters, Eleanor Cook of Cazenovia, Emily McDowell (Jean) of Houston, Texas and Nancy Graham of San Antonio, Texas; her children, Jack Murphy (Valery) of Douglas, Massachusetts, Ramona Nelson (David) of Plymouth, Massachusetts and Mary Bentley of Perryville, Arkansas; her stepchildren, Jake Nye (Deborah) of Willow Springs, Missouri, Barry Nye (Darlene) of Willow Springs, Missouri, Danny Nye of West Plains, Missouri, Melody Gardner of West Plains, Missouri, Meredith Pimental of Belfast, Maine and Robin Nye of West Plains, Missouri; her foster son Edgar Bailey of Kissimmee, Florida; and her grandchildren, Kara Serrano, Jennifer Slowick, Andrea Summarell, Jay Murphy, Shena Murphy, Holly Begin, Kearnen Murphy, Kayleigh Murphy, Bryleigh Murphy, Weldon Nelson, David Nelson, Rebecca Nelson, Joseph Nelson, Joanna Nelson, Naomi Nelson, Mahala Nelson, Mallisa Mobley, Travis Bentley and Tess Palazolo. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
