She was predeceased by : her parents, Ambress Thrasher and Myra Irene Duncan Thrasher; her former life partner Oral Edgar "Eddie" Armitage; her husband Howard Spicer; her siblings, Loretta Cartee, Kathy Thrasher and Donald Thrasher; and her granddaughter Klarissa Moore.

She is survived by : her children, Travis Lipsey (Katie), Darrin Lipsey and Cynda Moore (Brian); her siblings, Joyce Todd of Campbell and Junior Thrasher of Texas; her grandchildren, Danielle, Andrea, Nathan, Beth, Will Lipsey, Isaac, Hannah, Samuel, Melody Faith, Justin Moore, Trevor Spicer and Jacqueline Gatling; and her great grandchildren, Lola, Ashyn, McKinley, Ryleigh, Clara, Fisher, Merlin, Rossie and Rorie.
