It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lula Pogue of Piggott, Arkansas, born in Gideon, Missouri, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Nathan Akridge and Neva Akridge (Waddle); her former life partner Floyd Pogue; her husband Pete "Carl" Hoggard; her sister Dorothy St; her grandson Caleb; and her sons-in-law, Tom Allen and Forrest Crawford.
She is survived by : her daughter Dee Allen of Elizabethtown; her grandchildren, Tommy Allen, Amanda Allen, Tyler Faus, Madison Peek, Sara Peek, Payton Peek, Joe Crawford and Garrick Crawford; and her siblings, Billie Gage (Charlie) of Kennett, Charles Akridge of West Plains and Nathan (Ederlinda) of West Plains.
