It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Lee Adams Sr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Adams and Flossie Banks Adams; his former wife Sylvia Millner Roberts; and his siblings, Eugene Adams Jr., Willie Adams, James Adams, Wister Adams, David Adams, Ruth Adams Boswell and Flossie Adams.
He is survived by: his son Arthur Adams II; his wife Jimmie Lyles; his children, Sonya DeBerry, Tonya Dunham (Rodney) and Frank Lyles; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Kendall Dunham, Courtney, Joshua DeBerry, Aiyon Adams and Sidney Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
