It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bain of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, born in Sparkman, Arkansas, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Josie Collins Garner Johnson; her husband Raymond "Pete" Bain; her daughter Valissa Bain Mahan; and her brother Floyd Garner. She is survived by: her children, James Ray Bain of Pine Bluff and Vanessa Bain Watkins of Pine Bluff; and her siblings, Lloyd Garner, Patricia Hestand and Evelyn Frazier. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
