It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby James Owen of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, born in Star City, Arkansas, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Owen and Nezzie Lee Tucker Owen; and his wife Odie Kelley Owen. He is survived by: his sons, Ronny Owen (Kaye) of Hope, AR and Jerry Owen (Kim) of Plano, TX; his sisters, Martha Myers of Amarillo, TX, Janice Owen of Little Rock, AR and Annette Rodgers of Pine Bluff; and his great grandchildren, Brad Owen (Jennifer), Carleigh, Christian, Cameron, Kelley King (Jared), Owen Claire, Emmett, Jason Owen (Arika), Paisley, Raven, Jerry Owen (Kortni), Olivia and Baby Girl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Watson Chapel Baptist Church.
