He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Mary Granger Womble and JD Womble; and his sister Donna Womble Burns. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Dale Womble; his brothers, Ronnie Womble (Phyliss) and Terry Womble (Cindy); his daughters, Kellie Womble Stone (Steve) and Felisa Womble; his stepdaughters, Christa Menotti and Ashley Langston; his grandchildren, Anna "Caroline" Stone and Nicholas Granger Stone; and his stepgrandchildren, Victoria Veazey (David) and Paxton Newton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
