He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Boykin and Beatrice Boykin; his son Eric Boykin; and his siblings, Cleophus Boykin, Eugene Boykin, Jimmie Lee Miller and Delois Boykin.

He is survived by : his children, Tony Ray Boykin, Anthony Jerome Boykin, Archie Lamar Boykin and Dina Rochelle Boykin-Smith of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.; his sisters, Gloria Jackson of Harper Woods, Michigan. and Shirley Gatewood of Harper Woods, Michigan.; and his grandchildren, Marcus, Marquise, Brandy, Tony Jr., Terrell, Ambrea, Stephanie, Terraino, Aniqua, Erick, Anthony Jr., Naliyah, Demeika, Javian, Tania and Tianna. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
