It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Wesley Perkins Sr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Willie E. Perkins, Sr.; and his brother Lawrence Webster Perkins, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann; his children, Antwaun Perkins (Melanie) of Pine Bluff, AR., Charles Perkins, Jr. (Luisa) of Atlanta, GA., Angela Perkins Jean of Houston, Pamela Perkins of Atlanta and Georgia; his siblings, Jean Stevenson (Herschel) of Riverside, CA, Rubie Hairston (late Maurice) of Pine Bluff, AR. and Attorney Willie Perkins, Jr. (Ruby) of Hot Springs, AR.; and his grandchildren, Tony Jean, David Jean, Ben Jean, Jarred Perkins, Charles Perkins, III (Jacqueline), Rachael Perkins Smarr (Kasey) and Ashley. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and friends.
