He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Williams and Richola Williams; his wife Sharon Williams; his children, Clarence Williams Jr., Patrick Williams, Mia Dixon and Terence Savoy; and his siblings, Alice Stean Johnson, Robert Williams, Hollis Scott Jr., Lee Etta Green and Clara Mae Williams.

He is survived by: his children, LaShondra Williams, Starla Williams and Justin Williams; and his siblings, Rosetta Long, Laverne Price (Ricky), Elaine Green (Randy), James Williams (Mamie), Floyd Williams and Donny Ray Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Following his military service, Clarence settled in Maryland and worked for the Schnabel Foundation Company until his retirement.
