He is survived by: his brothers, Michael DeJarnette (Sherry) and Ronald DeJarnette (Lynn); his nephews, Michael DeJarnette (Shannon), Nicholas DeJarnette (Alison) and Zack DeJarnette; his niece Heather Fitzgerald (Jason); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Patrick, Eleanor, Joseph, Adrienne, William, Jevin, Caitlyn and Kirsten.
