He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Jesus Huizar and Elbira Estrada Huizar; his daughter Christina Vera Huizar; his stepmother Angelita; his wife Evelyn Mae; his son Daniel J. Huizar, Jr.; and his siblings, William "Ben" Huizar, Henry "Hank" Huizar, Lena Huizar and Emma Huizar.
He is survived by: his daughter Kim Lori Huizar Rose (David); his siblings, Vera Huizar Aguirre, Robert "Bobby" Huizar, Nancy Huizar McTaggart (Tom), John Huizar (Connie), Jessie Donna Huizar and Darin Huizar; his grandchildren, Stari Ewert (Justin), Zachary Mayfield, Aubrey Rose and Christopher Rose (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Milo and Remy Ewert. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
