He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Betty Atkinson of Star City and Cecil Ray Atkinson; his aunt Sue Dell Black; his uncle Earl Wayne Vick (Lynda); his son-in-law Kevin Kraft; and his brother-in-law Neil Crow.
He is survived by: his former wife Jeanie Scarzafava; his children, Angela Atkinson Duina (Francesco), Raye Atkinson Pietruszka (Todd), Amber Atkinson, Wayne Cristi Atkinson and Evan Ray Atkinson; his sisters, Kathy Bryan (Jim), Jill Lassiter (Sonny) and Candy Crow; his grandchildren, Gianluca, Sofia, Alana, Olivia and Alexa; and his cousins, Adam Vick (Kim) and Brady Vick (Denise). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
