He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Coleman and Menervia Coleman; and his significant other Ola Bea Crumpton Coleman. He is survived by: his sisters, Ida Mae, Ruby and Mary Anne; and his children, Larry Coleman of Dallas, Texas, Carolyn Davis of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Patricia Akins of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Vivian Perry of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; extended family; his church family; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kings Highway M. B. Church (2312 W Fluker Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
His life reminds us that some of our greatest contributions are made quietly—by showing up, helping others, providing for our families, serving our church and community, and remaining faithful year after year.
