We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2023, at the age of 90, Deborah Ridgel Curtis (Pine Bluff, Arkansas), born in Portland, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evander Ridgel and Lula B Grays; her siblings, Mary "June" Polard, Amala Caldwell, Ernestine Jiles, Flora Ridgel, Evander Burton Ridgel, Jr. and Jessie Ridgel; and her sons, Clinton "Clint" Claggett and Robert Claggett.
She is survived by: her children, Lance Curtis of Corpus Christi, James Curtis, Dave Claggett, Allen Claggett of Pine Bluff, Marchel Curtis of Detroit, John "Johnny" Claggett (Ventoria) of Texarkana, Nancy Claggett of Pine Bluff, Lula Phillips (Morris) of Long Beach and Carrie Woodward (Anthony) of Memphis; her sisters, Bobrie Hickmon of St. Louis and Charlene Windom; and her cousin Berniece Ridgel of Dermott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
