It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dell DuPriest Brown of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, born in Rose Bud, Arkansas, who passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Dell departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dell may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dell leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Julius Brown; her parents, Edwin DuPriest and Clara DuPriest of Pine Bluff; her sisters, Marie Hamm of Pine Bluff and Jean Nunn of Little Rock; and her brother-in-law Bill Waddle of Pine Bluff.
She is survived by: her son Larry Walker (Sherry) of Collierville, Tennessee; and her grandsons, Todd Walker of Collierville and Eric Walker of Collierville. She is also survived by two great‑grandchildren; three great‑great‑grandchildren; and two nephews.
