He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Franklin and Etta Mae Spikes Smith; and his great grandchild Olivia Earnest. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cannon Smith; and his sons, Steve Smith (Lori) of Randall, Darrell Smith (Jo Carole) of Sheridan, Darren Smith of Pine Bluff and Ricky Smith of Pine Bluff. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
