He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Boyd and Selma Boyd; his wife Fannie -Boyd of Washington; his grandchildren, Maria Larry and Lugene Boyd III; and his siblings, Ruthie Mae, Robert, Jr., Isaac, Bernice, Doris, Cornelius, Timothy, Lucas, Minetta and Lacey.
He is survived by: his children, Lugene Boyd, Jr., Roderick Boyd, Philemon Boyd, Eugenia Renee Boyd, Marilyn Shavers, Rhonda Boyd, Kailah Boyd and Sandraia Boyd; his brother Charles Boyd of Milwaukee, WI; and his daughter Kathlyn Moore. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
