She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Rogers and Susie Reynolds Rogers; the father of her children James Claghorn; her daughters, Sharon Elaine Claghorn and Shanon Lorene Harmond-Hand; and her sister Irene Rogers Craig.

She is survived by: her daughter Connie Boutwell (Tim) of White Hall; her siblings, Kenneth Rogers (Wilma) of Orlando, Florida, Lee Rogers Stokes of South Port, Viola Rogers Simons of Little Rock and Mildred Rogers Breeding of Little Rock; and her sons-in-law, John Elkins, Sr. of White Hall and Robert Harmon of White Hall. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be sent to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 412 West 6th Avenue, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71601.
