He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Boykin and Eva Smith Boykin; and his siblings, Harold, James, Dewey, Ralph, Winnie, Maxine, Dorothy and Bertha Jean.

He is survived by: his wife Billie Smith Boykin; his children, Eugene Boykin, Jr. of Pine Bluff, Michelle Vanlandingham (Paul) of White Hall and Patricia Shores (Randy) of White Hall; his grandchildren, Victoria, Jessica, Alicia, Kasey and Austin; his great grandchildren, Robert, Arrebella Rayne, Sailor and Macey; and his sister Pauline Upton of El Paso. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
