He is survived by: his sons, Marlon Taylor, Derek Taylor, Sr. and Taylor Felps; his grandchildren, Brittany Taylor, Yazmeen Taylor, Derek Taylor, Jr. and Haley Jordan; his goddaughter Monique Benford; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Taylor, Hendrix Luckett, Ivory Hendrix and Nevaeh Wynne; his siblings, Tony Dale of Houston, TX, Timothy Taylor of Little Rock, AR, Bertha Nesby of Corona, CA, Theresa Williams of Chicago, IL, Edna Bailey (Kenneth) of Windsor Locks, CT, Wanda Barkins (James) of Arlington, TX, Sandra Thomas (Eddie) of Hampton, GA, Kathy Reed (Norvell) of Clarksville, TX, Amanda Moore (Preston) of Choctaw, OK, Sharon Taylor of Tulsa, OK and Gwen Larry of Kansas City, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Luvell Pitts of Pine Bluff, AR, Freddie Pitts (Sheron), Lee Andrew Pitts of Fairfield, CA, Norman Pitts (Charlotte) of San Antonio, TX, Ida Wilkins of Patterson and Toni Brodnax (Michael) of Memphis, Tennessee.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (2704 Commerce Cir, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church (4807 W 6th Ave, White Hall, AR 71602).
