He was predeceased by: his parents, Drucilla Baker-Smith and William "Pete" Rhodes; and his brother Maurice Yarbrough. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Josie Rhodes-Beavers (Desmond), Desmond Beavers Jr., Dayneil Beavers, Joleia Beavers, Jasmine Rhodes, Adam Woodard Jr., Jaylen Woodard, Aviah Collins and Sedrick Rauls; his siblings, Earl Lee Rhodes, Joe Smith Jr. (Sheronda) of Tennessee, Roderice Smith (Pam), Diangela Love, Drusilla Smith, Jennifer Smith-Battles and Jessica Smith-McCray; and his stepfather Joe Smith (Brenda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
