He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman M. Goodman and Joelle Glover Goodman; and his sister Georgia Faye Goodman. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Staten Goodman; his siblings, Herman L. Goodman, Keith Goodman, Linda Shook and Della Missey; his children, Stephen Hooper (Roni), Timothy Hooper (JoJo) and Haley Stivers; and his caregiver Erma Hooper. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
