It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Marie Mathews of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Logan and Dorothy Griffin Logan; her husband Robert Joseph "Bobby" Mathews; her granddaughter Heather Grimes-Barringer; and her brothers, Raymond Logan and Gaylan "Bubba" Lemley.
She is survived by: her children, Robert J. "Joey" Mathews, Jr. (Vicki), Teri Mathews-Ezell (Joe) and Jeffery Mathews (Malette); her grandchildren, Tyler Mathews, Seth Hughes, Justin Mathews, David Grimes (Jen), Zach Kimsey (Kristiana), Amber Cowden (Stacy), Taylor Miller (Catilyn) and Victor Harmon (Keyla); and her sisters, Gaila Lemley and Marsha Jamison. She is also survived by forty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
