She was predeceased by: her parents, Capp Emerson, Sr. and Margertree Sterrett Emerson; and her siblings, Oliver Emerson, Granville Emerson, Sr., Capp Emerson, Jr., James Emerson, Amanda Emerson, Minnie Moorehead, Cloteal Williams and Evelyn Stokes (Bettie Harris).
She is survived by: her children, Tiffanye Emerson Compton (Randy) and Terrance Emerson; her grandchildren, Ti'Ran, Randy (LaGina), Brittany, Mariah, Caleb and Jasmine; her great grandchildren, Kensley, Kadence, Lauren and Peyton; and her sister Shirley E. Sharpe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, church members, friends, acquaintances, classmates, sorority sisters.
