In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Helen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Helen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Earthalene Gatewood and George Gatewood Sr.; her siblings, Bernice Gatewood, Charlie Mass and Johnny Gatewood; and her great grandchild Kash Lamar West.
She is survived by : her daughters, Regina West of West Memphis, AR. and Latasha West-Holbrook (Jesse) of West Memphis, AR.; and her former life partner Eddie West. She is also survived by Nine grand kids, four great grand kids, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Paradise Funeral Home (3705 W 6th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71603). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church (900 S Grant St, Pine Bluff, AR 71603).
