He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl M. Davis and Louise King Davis; his sister Eugenia Davis; his brother-in-law Pee Wee Commer; his brother Pat Davis; his sister-in-law Jan Davis; his niece Leanne Deacon; and his nephew Greg Commer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Davis; his children, Tonja, Sam McBryde, John "Bubba" and Gay Davis; his grandchildren, John Robert McBryde (Savannah Schwartz), Lara McBryde (Derik Thornton), Trey Davis (Rachel) and Lucas Davis (Jessica); his siblings, Jim Davis (Pat) of Little Rock and June Commer of Memphis, TN; and his friends, Don and Joan DePriest. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (703 W 3rd Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
