With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Edward Foster Sr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, born in Eudora, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024 at the age of 78. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mother Ella Edwards; his wife Johnnie Foster; his children, Tyrone Foster (Kathy) of Vancouver, WA, Kevin Foster (Nadia) of Cambridge, MA, Jack Foster, Jr. of Pine Bluff, AR., Malcolm Foster of Pine Bluff, AR., Nikia Elam (Kenneth) of Gilbert, AZ, Ella Foster of Coppell, TX, Emma Foster of Phoenix, AZ, Virginia Johnson (Quran) of Gilbert, AZ., Roosevelt A. Foster II and Wanda Foster-Moore; his father Roosevelt A. Foster of Lake Village, AR.; his sister JoAnne Edwards-Jackson; and his grandmothers, Emma Wade and Gussie Farris.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Community Baptist Church (321 N Birch St, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
