He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeno Cox Sr. and Ella Cox; and his son Byron. He is survived by: his wife Yverne; his children, James Jr. and Darcus Ann; and his brothers, Zeno and Ray. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many loved ones and friends.
