He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hufford and Bertie Brantley Hufford Ponder; his stepfather Sam Ponder; and his sister Margret Ann Hufford Presley. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jane Green Hufford of Pine Bluff; his children, James "Jim" A Hufford, Jr. (Denise) of Pine Bluff and Kimberly Hufford Eads (Lance) of Springdale; his grandchildren, Hannah Alise Hufford Lee, Madilyn Joy Eads and Jami Grace Eads; and his great grandchild Rhein Lee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, in memory of Mr. James Hufford.
