She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Davis and Albirdia Davis; her husband James Tate; her daughters, Brinda Tate-Jasper, Sandra Davis-Phillips and Kimberly Davis; her siblings, Maxine Barnett, Travistine Davis and Bobby Davis; and her grandchildren, Katiedra Harris, Corbi Keith Ingram, Cordulon Watson, Antonio Hutson and Anthony Tate.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Richardson, Joyce Figures, Melanie Griffin, Sherrice Davis, Terrie Davis-Lee (Levon), Donnie Griffin (Rhonda), Danny Kay Griffin and Darric Davis (Kimberly); her siblings, Horace Davis, Freddie Davis and Dorothy Jackson; and her extended family, Lorean Johnson, William Sanders (Gloria), Ella Sanders, Rosie Sanders, Raymond Sanders, Melvin Sanders (Carol), Eddie Sanders (Denise) and Kevin Sanders. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
